Local Rules (UTG)
Udon Thani Golf committee has agreed that under exceptional circumstances there is a need to apply additional local rules that are not displayed on the card.
Under a previous ruling 'Dangerous Situation' R & A Descision's 1 - 4/10 & 33 - 8/22
(1) A ball coming to rest in the vicinity of an ants nest/hill or any other nesting creature should be deemed a 'Dangerous Situation' and a danger to the player. (nearest point + drop within one club length) ball can roll up too another club length, no nearer the hole)...........Treated as Ground Under Repair
(1a) A ball coming to rest in a hazard but deemed a 'Dangerous Situation' then the ball must be dropped in the hazard without penalty, a player has the option of dropping outside the hazard but must incur a penalty stroke..........
(2) A ball coming to rest in a washout or washed out area will be deemed Ground Under Repair. (nearest point + drop within one club length) ball can roll up too another club length, no nearer the hole)
(3) Obstructions - Relief maybe taken without penalty
